Monday, March 24, 2008My First Soccer Practice

Sunday, March 23, 2008I Love My Daddy! My Daddy is the best! He's teaching me all about football and Baby Einstein and he even taught me how to write my own blog. What can I say? He's a great teacher! I reward his 4:00am diaper changing with lots of smiles and cooing--it keeps him wrapped around my tiny baby finger. He sure knows how to spoil me! Mommy took me to the zoo today with her Metro Moms group. All I saw was 40 women in track suits and a ton of strollers. I slept through meeting the gorilla (dang that naptime!)--but I did love seeing the flamingos!

Today is St. Patrick's Day which means two very important things. First, my name is Benjamin Patrick Butler. I'm named after my Daddy, Scott Patrick Butler. So St. Patrick's Day is a celebration of our name! But second and far more importantly, St. Patrick's Day is the day that people try to pinch you! So I made extra sure that Mommy dressed me in all green today. Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!

I sure am a lucky guy--from reading all of the posts below, you'd think I have 30 aunts and uncles! Well, this weekend my Uncle Jason came to visit me all the way from Austin. And he even brought me a present! Jason has taken a special interest in teaching me about style, so I always dress-to-impress whenever he comes to visit.

I love my Mommy so much! She is my best friend in the whole world. She takes care of me every day, makes sure my tummy is always nice and full, and always makes sure I'm wearing the latest fashions. You gotta look good at the Dallas Metro Moms' events! But most of all, I love my Mommy because she is the best place in the world for me to cuddle and fall asleep. I hope I never get too big to cuddle with her...
