I met my new cousins today! Uncle Chris and Auntie Heather had twin boys that were born a week after me. Colby and Hagen were pretty sleepy during our first playdate, but I'm sure we'll make up for it later when we're terrorizing our parents. Yay, more friends for me to play with!

Today I had my first bath! It was good timing too because I was starting to get kind of stinky. But now I'm all fresh and clean and have that "new baby" smell which is always a hit with the ladies! :-)

Monday, February 25, 2008My Nana and Grandpa Love Me!
Look at what my Nana and Grandpa sent me! Now I can be a real live bear around the house. Benjamin Bear! I haven't met my Nana and Grandpa yet, but they sure must love me a lot to send me something so cool to wear. I hear they are going to come visit me in April--I can't wait to see them! But for now, I'm going to go try and scare Sadie and Molly in this outfit...

Tuesday, February 12, 2008First Dinner Out
Tonight Mommy and Daddy took me to a place called "The Porch" for my first dinner out--right down the street! I was kind of a celebrity there because Mommy and Daddy had dinner there the night that Mommy went into labor. They all knew who I was because Daddy was writing down Mommy's contractions on a napkin at the table! Well, the excitement was too much for me--I slept through most of the meal.

Today I went to see my doctor for the first time. Mommy and Daddy sure seemed nervous! I don't know why though--I got an A+ bill of health! And I had sure packed it on--I already weigh 8 lbs 6 oz! I hope they give me a lollipop next time...

I love my Mimi! She was the first face I saw when I came into the world, and she's been smiling at me ever since. She took such great care of Mommy, Daddy, and me when I came home too. I heard a rumor she's coming back in April--I can't wait to cuddle her again!

Thursday, February 7, 2008My First Visitors
Today I had my first visitors! My Auntie Megan came to the hospital to meet me for the first time and brought my Mommy the most beautiful flowers. They talked and talked all about me. I couldn't really understand what they were saying, but I did hear the word "cute" a lot!
Then my Auntie Allison and Uncle Rob came to visit and meet me for the first time too. My Mommy and Daddy are so silly though--they forgot to take a picture! :-) Labels: Birth |

I Have Arrived!
I graced the world with my presence at 9:19 am on February 6th, 2008. I was 7 lbs 12 oz and 20.5 inches long--what a whopper I was! I have finally arrived in the world and I just gotta say--it's freezing out here! And can someone please turn out the lights?
